Bottom rack defective after 2 months

The dishwasher cleans the dishes very well, but after two months, the wheels on both sides of the bottom rack slip off the side ledges and render the rack unable to slide in and out of the machine.

Got this dishwasher in April. Less than 1 month old, it's having a E2130 Heating Error. Called customer service, will take about 2 weeks before someone will come look at it, assuming it can even be fixed. Very disappointing quality for expensive dishwasher.

This dishwasher is amazing. It is so quiet - almost too quiet because sometimes I'm not sure it is actually turned on other than the red light that appears. It also works amazingly well. Everything comes out perfectly clean and sparkling, and we don't even use the Finish Aid - the dishwasher is huge improvement from our last dishwasher. The app is a nice feature, and the installation process through Lowe's was smooth. I would 100% recommend this dishwasher.

This is our second Bosch 800 series dishwasher. This one replaced a unit that we bought in 2013. This new dishwasher is a champ at cleaning the dishes and is extremely quiet. I love the adjustability of the top rack. The Crystal Dry function is remarkably better than standard drying of plastic items. Some changes were made between 2013 and 2026 and I don't love them all.
The stainless finish on the handle and the front are quite resistant to fingerprints. I don't love that the door is more tightly sprung to close on its own. The light for "clean" on my panel does not light up after the cycle has been run. I do run the dishwasher at night and it may be that this feature times out by the time I open the dishwasher in the morning. The silverware rack is much smaller. Thankfully, our retailer gave us an additional basket to offset that issue. I miss the plastic handle on the lower rack. The wire pull feels cheap. I've looked for a part to purchase and haven't been successful. The middle rack is used for glasses and bowls at our house. The tines on the right side of the rack used to have the option of laying flat. Now they are fixed and don't allow our bowls to seat well. The middle and upper racks glide less smoothly than our previous model.
Again, the dishwasher does a great job cleaning and drying the dishes. I should have looked more closely at the rack designs and may have attempted to put our old middle rack in the new machine at installation.

Amazed at how quiet this dishwasher is. Cleans well and the design is very user-friendly. Wish they had an option to access the info they include in the app through another means (booklet or website) as I didn't want to install their app on my phone. It would also be nice if they included one or two tall bottle holders (all of the prongs in the lower rack are short and positioned at an angle) because I wash large glass milk bottles regularly. Bought and attached the large bottle holder separately and it works well.

Very quiet. It was very expensive and the plastic parts are not sturdy. My first Bosch and I'm disappointed. I thought the quality would be better. The spray arm drips water and if you don't place the mugs exactly right they collect water.

It's an ok dishwasher. I'm not happy I have to use my phone to figure out how much time a cycle runs. There's no screen to give you any indication as to the time left. The dishwasher has an incredibly long cycle (over three hours) when you use crystal dry to get the dishes dry. Just not super happy with this dishwasher. The silverware container is really small. It's half the size of my previous dishwasher. For $1300 you shouldn't have to use your phone.

Very quiet--the red light projected on the floor is what tells me it's actually working! Easy to load with the flexibility of 3 drawers including adjustable features; programming is a breeze and the app reminds me when it's ready to be unloaded; plus careful design that makes it an elegant addition to the modern kitchen. When it was time to replace my old dishwasher, I called my long-time plumber and asked for his recommendation. Without hesitation, he said "buy a Bosch". He was right. I love this dishwasher. It is easy to load, there's an extra place to put large serving flatware, there is no heating element so you can put plastic anywhere you like. One of the best features is it is incredibly quiet. You know it's on when you see a red light shine on the floor in front of the dishwasher. Otherwise, you never hear it running. My plumber was right!

The dishwasher is very quiet which is necessary when you have an open floor plan. The dishes come out nice and clean. I don't like that the indicators don't light up when in use so you can see where you are in the cycle. Also, (and it could be just me) I couldn't figure how to operate it without the Home Connect Feature (which takes a little while to set up and get use to) and I even tried to do it by calling them and following their instructions.

This is a great quality appliance worth the money. Initially I felt like the top drawer rack for silverware was a pain, but I have to admit it is the best way to get silverware clean and spot free. This dishwasher is very quiet and does a great job washing and drying the dishes.

My wife and I bought this dishwasher after some quick research discovering it had a high percentage of positive reviews. Also, a co-worker gave it high praise
Went to ABT to look at several dishwashers, connected with a great salesman who had this exact same dishwasher. After some discussion we decided on the Bosch. We liked the Crystal Dry technology, and the layout of the 3 racks. We were up for trying something new with silverware being placed on the top rack instead of its normal lower rack location. In addition, the thought of putting plastics on the bottom rack intrigued us. Once the install was complete we filled up the dishwasher within a day and ran our first load. We loved the red light signifying that the dishwasher is operating and its quitness. However, I wish there was a green light showing that the dishes are clean? We like many other reviewers had to buy a clean/dirty magnet. Overall it is a great dishwasher.

We recent replaced our 15 year-old Bosch dishwasher. It was still running well and never needed a single repair. But dishwasher technology has advanced and the features of our new Bosch were too good to pass up. So we swapped our old one out. Couldn't be happier with that decision. The drying capability alone was enough to validate the purchase. Bosch makes great appliances. You'll pay a premium, but that extra money will work so hard for you over the next 10+ years.

We just purchased and installed our first Bosch product, the 800 Series Dishwasher. Extremely pleased with our purchase! The quality of the 800 Series Dishwasher is far and above the six year old dishwasher we had. Operation of the dish racks is smooth and flawless. Very easy to navigate the controls. My new dishwasher is performing excellently. I love all the smart features of the racks that provide flexibility for loading them efficiently. It is so quiet! Without the light shining on my kitchen floor, I would be checking if the appliance is actually turned on. The linked app is a sweet addition, not only for a remote control of the appliance, but also to be notified when the wash is done and the dishes are ready to be put away. And last, but not least, my new dishwasher looks beautiful and matches the clean high-tech look of my kitchen. Congratulations to Bosch! Keep up the good work :)

The dishwasher seems to work fine. This is my third bosch washer. with the last two, if my wife ran the dishwasher while i was away for the day, when I came home I knew that the washer had run due to lights on the control panel letting me know. With this model there is no way to tell. It has a clean light that only stays lit for ten minutes at which time the control panel de-energizes and the light goes out. This makes absolutely no sense.
In addition it was not able to talk to a technical person about this. Only a customer rep that could only read the same manual as I.

This dishwasher is very quiet, which I love. There's plenty of space for dishes, and I particularly like the top silverware tray. It's cleans everything really well and has numerous cleaning settings to choose from. The only things I don't completely love are the top-of-door controls (I prefer the front-of-door location) and the red light that shines on the floor to show that the dishwasher is running. Overall, a nice dishwasher!

I've always owned your typical, average run of the mill type dishwasher. The one I bought for my cabin was the cheapest sold in the store. Well, you pay what you get for. So a few years later I bought a second hand 500 series Bosh and noticed a significant improvement. So when we needed a replacement for my primary home, I did a lot of research and went with this dishwasher. So far, I haven't had a single dish come out as dirty, but I'm still used to pre-rinsing my dishes before they go in. Gradually, I will start to just scrape and load and save hot water not rinsing.
Going with this dish washer, I wanted the best, and it has delivered. I don't use the app much, but it's a nice feature. It also takes a little to learn how to best load, but once you got that down, it does a great job. I do like having the utensil rack on top. They are always clean. The only drawback is starting it up. You need to hit the run botton and close it quick. It is also very silent, so sometimes you're not sure if it is running, but that's what the light reflecting on the floor means.
One final thing, it uses a chemical that gets hot when drying, so it's supposedly very energy efficient. I have found that with the drying agent, even plastics come out completely dry.
I'd wholeheartedly recommend this dishwahser.

It cleans our dishes perfectly and you can't tell that the machine is running until you see the indicator light shining on the floor that says it's running. Excellent dishwasher. Drying cycle is superb. Wash cycle easily outperforms other brands--hands down. We use the delay cycle feature on the app which takes getting used to but we did and it is helpful for power saving.

Had an old dishwasher that was 15 yrs old. This Bosch was a bit pricey but worth it. Installation was quick and had a lot of little high end things that helped make it seamless. Like the back leveling mounts. Functions quietly and efficiently. The racks have so much space we can fit a days worth of cooking.

I love my new Bosch dishwasher. It looks sleek with no visible buttons, cleans dishes and glasses perfectly and is very silent. The only thing I would change, and that I liked better in my older model, was the ability to delay the start with a button on the machine itself rather than having to do so from the app.

So for the most part I am very happy with the new Bosch 800 series dishwasher My old 300 series was great too until after 18 years the mother board went bad. The new dishwasher with its insulation wrap is even quieter than the old one which was whisper quiet imo. I also like the xtal dry cycle which is a definite plus over the 300 series. The red light on the floor when in operation is new to us and with the dishwasher being so quiet is a necessary feature so you know if it on or off. I did replace the circuit breaker and the 20 amp outlet during the install to protect the new dishwasher. Also the floor levelling system is terrific. The rear leg is adjusted by a screw located on the front panel.....genius! Two things I thought were better with the old dishwasher were: the utensil tray on the 800 is much smaller and is situated in the back where opening the dishwasher requires you to reach in back to load the silverwear. I did use the old silverwear tray by simply removing a few slotted areas underneath it and mounting it in front as before. The second item is related to the thickness of the finish over the stainless steel door panel The 300 series had a smoother finish to it. The new one is still easy to keep clean of finger prints though. All in all I am very happy with the purchase of the Bosch 800 series stainless dishwasher
