Good dryer, it™€™s just too low for my husband and I

The dryer came with the new condo we bought. I did not pick it out. It is a good dryer and dries my clothes well. The buttons on it make it easy to pick what kind of drying I need and how much time, how much dampness etc. My only issue with it is it™€™s too low to the ground. I wish it was about 12 inches taller. I can™€™t even get a laundry basket under the door without opening the door all the way, then placing the basket next to it. I™€™m only 5™€™6™€ and I feel it™€™s too low. I can™€™t imagine how someone who is six feet or more likes it. I feel like now I have to spend about $500 to get a pedestal for my washer and dryer. If I had my choice I wouldn™€™t have bought this particular dryer.

Disappointed in Whirlpool electric dryer

This dryer is very loud. It also stopped working temporarily when drying multiple loads one after the other. And it doesn't dry all clothes completely, especially towels, I have to run the dryer on manual time for 5-10 minutes to get towels completely dry.

We ordered our Whirlpool dryer from FergusonHome.com through our builder. It was delivered, set up and ready for me when we moved in. The first time I used it, it was so loud and obnoxious that I set up a repair appointment. It turns out the motor was defective. I am so disappointed. My mom had Whirlpool products her whole life (she is now deceased) and they always worked what seemed like forever. I don't recall needing any maintenance work done ever, just the occasional minor things that my dad took care of. What is happening in the appliance world? I would rather go back to my LG washer and dryer but getting service here in Myrtle Beach is difficult so I went with what I thought would be a good choice but I was mistaken.

This is a no-frills dryer that gets the job done so far. Door was on the wrong side for our setup but Whirlpool has a helpful youtube video that helped me reverse the door. It defaults to a feature called "Eco-boost" which adds several more minutes to drying times.

We purchased 14 of these dryers for our apartment rental building and I have spent a fortune trying to fix them and they are only 3 years old. The tenants complain of them sounding like a subway train. Technicians change the parts and the are still so loud. Do not buy this dryer as it is super loud. I think Whirlpool should reach out and do something at this point but I have not been successful.

Two weeks after installation and the dryer will not run a complete cycle. It stops before loads are dry. Dryer will dry clothes after repeated stopping and starting. Matter was reported to Ferguson where I purchased the dryer 4 day ago, they reported to Whirlpool, but still waiting for a technician to call me to schedule repair.

I have had this dryer for about 6 months. It is loud and does not dry the clothes very well at all. It doesn't matter what setting I have it on, 90% of the time, I have to dry the clothes longer just using the timed dry setting. For a modern appliance, it should NOT take 1 hour & 30 or 40 minutes to dry a load of clothes. I do NOT recommend buying this unit.

This is the worst Whirlpool product I have ever purchased. We have been loyal to Whirlpool and KitchenAid products in the past, so this is quite disappointing for us. For over $1,000, this dryer is enormously noisy - especially compared to the Whirlpool dryer that we are replacing and which cost less. The electronic controls reset after each use -- they do not keep our dryer preferences like our last dryer did. Very, very disappointed. Would not purchase again. This makes us question our loyalty to Whirlpool since the quality seems to be going down while the prices go up.

Unit came with my new townhouse and drying is a complete nightmare. It takes close to an hour just to get it to start because the err comes on each time and it doesn™€™t matter if the door is properly latched or not it won™€™t start unless you walk away from it for at least an hour then it magically senses the door is closed and starts. It™€™s beyond tedious and ridiculous

I bought January and is been very good and washes clothes very well we love it.
