Went back old school

Over all so far we are pleased with the refrigerator. It kind 0f old school with the internal ice, and the water inside is different. it has a clean look on the outside. Only reason I didn™€™t give it 5 stars is because every once in a while when opening up the top try in the freezer to get ice it drops some out the back side.

Nice size and lighting Water dispenser still spill

Nice refrigerator plenty big, but we had to get creative with the shelving to accommodate the Kombucha bottles. I got the internal water dispenser and it spills worse than one on the outside. I thought it would be better but it™€™s not.

Nice refrigerator but has issues

It is a shame that the top of the line KitchenAid does not supply dual ice makers like the whirlpool. The water valve when filling the ice maker is very noisy. Replaced filter that came with refrigerator and will see if it gets any better.

Not what I expected from Kitchen Aid

I owned the version before this one. I expected bigger and better. Instead what we received was smaller capacity and cheaper quality. I bought it site unseen because all my appliances are Kitchen Aid, so I trusted the brand. The bins for fruit and veggies are smaller. The overall inside space feels smaller than my previous one. And where™€™s the butter bin!!!

Disappointed! Produce does not stay crisp!

Liked our old Kitchenaid much better. Actually wouldn't have bought this one if I knew the lettuce will not stay crisp. Old Kitchenaid had humidity controls on each of the product bins. This has nothing and the bins are smaller. Lettuce is so limp. Interior is nice, but wish the door shelves had rubber padding as our old one did. If you want your produce to stay crisp I suggest you find another refrigerator. Refrigerator overall storage is less than our last one, even though outside dimensions are a little larger. Check your measurements closely. We knew refrigerator would fit but didn't take into account the door handles extended about an extra inch further out. If it wasn't for the delivery people and their determination we might not have gotten into the kitchen.

A bit disappointed

I am extremely disappointed with the freezer basket. It is wire instead of solid material like my last refrigerator. When opening the freezer, it will get out of alignment when opening. The door shelf™€™s are large and will hold a lot of items but, when opening the doors the glass items move around. It would have been nice to have the shelves skid free. I can™€™t comment on the performance yet. I was so focused on the mechanical durability when researching. I wish I had looked at the interior design more.

Not as happy with this refrigerator as I thought

I bought this 4 months ago. My last refrigerator was same size, style Kitchenaide Refrigerator, which we loved. New refrigerator produce drawers smaller than last refrigerator, can not fit all items in the 2 drawers, difficult to fit celery front to back, drawers seem too short. There are no rubber door shelf liners like the last refrigerator. Items on these shelves clunk and slide around whenever you open and close the refrigerator doors. I have to say outside finish better and more smudge resistance than last refrigerator

Storm Troopers Live in this Fidge

I literally spent weeks pouring over reviews and shopping around before landing on this fridge. At this point, I feel like I would have had just as much luck throwing a bunch of choices in a bag and going with whatever one I pulled out at random. My reason for leaving a ™­™­ is because the below escapades have to do with Whirlpool/KitchenAid's warranty contractors. Your product is only as good as the support you provide. As of day four of this fridge being delivered it has been possessed by Storm Troopers. On day four it began intermittently making a staccato'd noise similar to a sci-fi radar/laser gun. This has now been going on for a month. I immediately went to the business I had purchased it from figuring that they would be able to assist me since it hadn't even been a week since delivery. Instead, they entered a warranty claim with KitchenAid. This has been a complete nightmare experience and headache ever since. Their next available availability was two weeks out (I live in a rural area and they are only available two times a week for this region). I said "OK... at least it is still pumping out cold air". The day for the tech to arrive came - I emptied out my fridge for the anticipated visit. At 5:22 PM the tech calls and tells me he will not be showing up and I need to be rescheduled. He said that he would make a note to have me prioritized to get into the schedule immediately. I suggested that I send him a video and perhaps he could diagnose the issue that way (mind you he was most likely still going to have to order a repair part). The next day I received a phone call from the dispatcher and she said that he could be scheduled for yet another two weeks out.... WHAT?! This thing is making such a racket that I have to wear earplugs to sleep at night... "Sorry that's the best we can do... but he does have the part" ??If they can diagnose the issue with a video perhaps they should include that in the warranty claim 🙠So two weeks later - I empty my fridge AGAIN and around the time window the tech is supposed to show up, I receive a phone call telling me that he will not be showing up (WTF?!?!) and had to reschedule me for ANOTHER TWO WEEKS OUT!! I was given a long list of excuses from being short handed to everyone is overbooked blah blah blah... sounds to me like a sh!tty management issue that has become my issue (and anyone else who is on their schedule, I would imagine). So here I am with a brand new fridge that looks nice, does keep my food cold but houses ghost Storm Troopers that fire at random (thank goodness they can't hit anything to save their lives).
