We love our new dishwasher! Our old Whirlpool was 20 years old so it was time for a newer quieter one. We love you can barely hear it and the three racks are wonderful, you can load this up! It also cleans everything so well and the door pops open to let the moisture out. We highly recommend.

My rating would be somewhere between a 3 and a four. The dishwasher is attractive and I like the new bar that opens the door and the stainless finish that doesn't show fingerprints. The dishwasher is quiet and seems to do a good job cleaning our dishes. I find the capacity lacking. Our dishes, which are pretty standard size, do not fit well on the racks and I do not find the third rack helpful. We have found it difficult to find any of our mugs or glasses that will fit on the third rack.

We love our new dishwasher! It has a lot of space, the 3rd shelf at the top is a really great feature that we use a lot. The racks all open and close smoothly, you barely have to touch the drawers to close them, and they dont fall off the track! It runs so quiet I forget it™™s even running. The wash, rinse, and drying cycles are thorough, and the coolest thing, besides the 3rd shelf, is it automatically opens when it™™s done! We are very happy with our purchase.

Door Program Issue Malfunction

I like the dishwasher but after 3 months the door did not open on it's own so I called Kitchen Aide since under warranty and sent out someone to look at the problem. It was a code to open the door had changed to a new code that does not give the automatic door to open. Not sure how that would change but it got reprogrammed and working great! I also think the touch panel is too sensitive when opening up the dishwasher you slightly touch the top and it beeps for a program to start and then need to cancel it. Overall pretty satisfied with how it cleans and the quietness of it>

I love my KitchenAid dishwasher. It does an excellent job of cleaning the dishes. It is very quiet and I like the time delay feature which allows me to start the dishwasher even if I'm not home. I can easily fit all the dishes from a six person dinner into the machine-including the the cookware. This is my second KitchenAid dishwasher-my previous one lasted for 15 years.

This is the best dishwasher I™™ve ever had. It™™s super quiet, everything comes out clean and is easy to load/unload. It fits A LOT as well and I love the 3rd rack for smaller items and serving utensils that would otherwise take up room elsewhere. I turn off the pro dry feature and my dishes are still dry at the end of the cycle. My only complaint is that my silverware doesn™™t fit in the grid on the silverware rack so I had to take the grid off. No big deal and my silverware is an unusual shape.

Just a few comments, one thing I noticed having installed quite a few dishwashers over the years is that there wasn™™t a way once the product was slid into the opening to raise or lower the rear two legs to level. Also, I noticed that the sound wrapping if I can call it that what™™s really just draped in place so that if I pulled it out a little bit to adjust something and then pushed it back. I know that it bunched up and didn™™t clearly cover all the areas that should be taped in place more thoroughly. I would™™ve done it myself, but I didn™™t think about it at that time.

We've had this dishwasher for about 5 months now and are really enjoying it. It's quiet, cleans dishes well and has a very large capacity. Dishes come out dry, and the machine seems stable and solid. We enjoy the "clean" light that comes on when the cycle is done and the door pops open. This reduces the chances of my kids accidently adding dirty dishes to a full set of clean ones. Would highly recommend.

The dishwasher does a pretty good job washing dishes. There are a few foods that the dishwasher cannot wash off, and I™™m not sure if it™™s the dishwasher™™s or the detergent™™s fault. The dishwasher runs its cycle for a very long time, but it beats having to hand wash everything. The dishwasher is very quiet, though, and I love the stainless steel color.

The Kitchen Aid dishwasher seems to have more room inside as compared to my last machine. I am still learning how to best load my dishes, etc. in order to most effectively use the space. I love the drying choices - I no longer have water droplets on the dishes, and my dishes are squeaky clean. The dishwasher is also very quiet which means I can run it later at night. The machine fits snugly into the space in my island and does not move or shake - very stable. Having the dishwasher pop open to release steam at the end of the cycle is a nice feature. I use the express cycle often for smaller loads - saves time and energy. I also like where the controls are located at the top of the door rather than on the outside. And, the handle is large and is conveniently located. I use it to open and close the machine which means no unwanted fingerprints on the exterior!

The dishwasher is Very quiet , In fact the first time I used it I was not sure it was even on . I am surprised at the length of time that cycle takes So I usually run it at night when I might not need it again. I have not had any problems with dishes not drying completely . I like the capacity for the two lower shelves. The top one I'm not exactly sure what is for since it's so shallow . I just put large Utensils mostly up there . Sometimes I even forget that it's there . So far I'm very happy with it in the Little over two months that I've had it

I like the product. After installation and first use the door opened automatically. A thin plastic tab stuck out and did not retract. I submitted an inquiry and never got an answer. The local sales store did not respond either. I pushed it in and it has not happened again. There is nothing in your service information explaining what this is.

This dishwasher replaced a Kitchen Aid model that was about 12 years old. We wanted to ensure that the replacement would fit in the space that had been designed around the previous appliance and would have the same features. Our previous model had only two racks, but the racks were easier to load with our dishware and had more usable capacity than the present dishwasher. It's also not clear whether this unit is as energy efficient as the one it replaced. In any event, the normal wash cycle is over three hours long, more than an hour longer than its predecessor. The noise in operation is noticeably louder. So while we thought we were replacing with a comparable unit, there are significant differences. But so far, the dishwashing function (wash and dry) is comparable and very satisfactory.

Very quiet - holds a lot & we haven't needed to re- handwash anything or run it through another cycle. We are bit surprised by how long a cycle is - 3-4 hrs. Our old Bosch took 90 minutes max, but was small & its cleaning was sub-optimal.

Just got it a while back but I am very impressed with it. It is super quiet and at this point cleans just as well as my older dishwasher. First time I ran it, I literally thought it wasn't running because it was so quiet. Dishes come out clean and dry with little spots. It has tons of room for the dishes I use with space leftover. Not had it long enough to rate on dependability but I see no see reason yet for it to give me issues. Love the space for top self items and options for washing utensils. Expect this will serve me well for a long time.

The KitchenAid dishwasher was purchased to replace a 3yr old Maytag dishwasher that failed. The inside is very similar. It has a nice capacity for larger items on the top shelf and has adjustable shelves. This unit is very quiet and you can hardly hear it run. It has great drying and once it is done, the door automatically opens to let out the steam. The only suggestions I have is that it is very hard to read the display once you close the door. This is with all top display models. The only other suggestion is the silverware rack -- the plastic divider has small and large holes built in for different size silverware. The problem is that we have wide based silverware base that can only fit into 50% of the holes provided. Our old dishwasher had wide slots throughout. Other than that, so far this dishwasher is performing great. My expectation is for it to last at least 10 years.
