It's.... Meh at best

It's ok. Does it clean the dishes? I think so. Does it dry them? Not really. High temps, plenty of jet dry, dishes loaded correctly and sparsely, etc ... Still damp and water spots. Cycles take FOREVER. It's... Mildly quiet. You can definitely hear this thing running. I've always liked GE, but this one won't be recommended. Edit: Water is 140° and the rinse aid is always full. Morning is drying, not just plastic. I've tried the dry boost settings and everything... Just... Not good.

I am extremely happy with my new GE dishwasher. The way the racks are designed, there is SO much more room compared to my previous dishwasher. And, it is SO QUIET!! We used to wait until we went to bed to start the dishwasher so we could still hear the TV. Now, we can't even tell when the dishwasher is running. Dishes are sparkling clean and nice and dry ! Highly recommend.

Genuinely disappointed in this dishwasher. We purchased just six months ago and are the dishwasher is no longer functioning - all the control panel does is blink, so we are incurring repair costs after barely half a year of use. When functioning, it does not clean or dry dishes entirely, although it takes 4+ hours to run. Extremely disappointed in this product considering the time we have had it. Would give zero stars if it were an option.

I had my other dishwasher for 7 years and it died, This replacement is not of the quality of the old one, it seems to be made a lot cheaper material, the 3rd rack has too large of hole and it is just holes where items can slip all around where the older one had ridges to hold and the holes were a lot smaller, bottom line I am not very pleased with my purchase

When using cycles without heated dry it leaves inch-deep suds in bottom. All causes such as spilled rinse aid, bad drainage etc. Are ruled out. I am hand-rinsing all dishes until other brand replacement arrives.

Very poor quality given the cost. This unit replaced one that was the same but 5 years old. Very flimsy construction, the tabs for fastening the unit to the counter top are loose as you now bend a tab instead of screwing them to the unit.

The problem I ran into was the installation Instructions were quite lacking. The same instructions are apparently used for a number of different models. There are things that don't apply to this model and also instructions that are not thorough enough for the typical homeowner to easily self install. The instructions are primarily for installation and do not come with an owner operation user's manual, although one can be downloaded. Since I have not yet downloaded the operating manual, I cannot comment on the operating efficiency.

So far so good. Didn™€™t have much luck with the last G.E. Dishwasher. Had to replace the control board right after the factory warranty expired. Then it lasted another 2 years of very light use. But wanted the new dishwasher to match the ™€œslate™€ finish of the rest of the G.E. kitchen appliances, so we went with G.E again for the dishwasher. Got the extra 5 year warranty through Lowe™€™s this time™€¦.

The cycles on my old dishwasher ran for hours, so I really appreciateDoes a great job the shorter cycle times that get my dishes clean. I don't have to wash my dishes before putting them in my new GE. I rise them off, put them in and they come out clean. Also, the racks are designed to hold lots, while allowing efficient cleaning.

I am very disappointed in this dishwasher, so much so I wish I had kept my 20 year old maytag and the racks that were finally falling apart. 😠this dishwasher leaves my dishes very wet, even with my jet-dri full and the dty boost on high. I run the "normal" setting and after 3 hours, they are still wet (and sometimes, still dirty). The top, 3rd rack is the worst. My lids are always full of water! I truly expected better as I really like my GE fridge and slide-in stove. I am really regretting this purchase.

We purchased this dishwasher when our previous GE dishwasher (only 6 yrs old) stopped working and the GE repair person told us the cost to repair would be about the same as a new washer. So we purchased this model per his recommendation and our budget. The new dishwasher is much louder than the previous one and the inside stays wet inside even after leaving the door ajar at the end of the cycle. I™€™ve also noticed a large amount of water stays trapped in the filter area. It does clean well, but I liked my previous model much better.

The installation is poorly engineered. It is mounted to the cabinet wall by one screw at the top of the dishwasher on each side. There is no option for another anchoring screw at the bottom of the dishwasher. When the top rack is pulled out half-way, the weight of any glasses on it pulls the front of the rack down at a slant and it continues to slide out of the dishwasher. It looks like the rack will fall off the rails. The weight then pushes the bottom of the dishwasher into the cabinet at an angle, hinging from the top mounting screw. The dishwasher then needs to be pulled out of the cabinet at the bottom. The dishwasher appears to be made very cheaply; it is noisy. This was a replacement for a 5-year old GE GDT670SMVES whose circuit board quit working. There was a misunderstanding as to the replacement we purchased; we are now replacing the replacement with the GDT670SMVES. Hopefully it can be anchored to the cabinet better. I would give this zero stars but that was not an option, so gave it the least I could.

Ok....seams very cheaply made? Well see how it does for the next 10 years....last ge I purchased only made it 3 yrs

Horrid replacement.

This replaced a 5-year old GE dishwasher whose control panel quit. Now knowing the quality of this replacement, I would suggest anyone with a similar problem consider spending the $ to repair rather than replacing with this model.
